Bangladesh Insurance Academy

Governance

The Academy came into being in November 1973 through a Government Resolution. It functions as an autonomous body under the Administrative Control of the Ministry of Commerce. The Management of the Academy comprises a ten-member Board of Governors. The Board has representation from ministries, state insurance department & corporations, & insurance association of Bangladesh. The academy is headed by the Director who is the chief executive appointed by the government of the peoples republic of Bangladesh.
